I'm thinking this could be a spit-ball thread. Where people just throw out ideas, both practical and out-there.


Trade skill pots that raise a single trade skill to 300.
Cause no one actually LIKES getting up trade skills haha.

How about a donor "Special" of the day? A random donor item that's put on sale for a day.

Donator - Token of X

Different levels of tokens that flag you for different levels of content.

Last time I saw sales on donator item was on Scar of Amerous, server was dead 1week later. thats a terrible idea


We used to have Xeg token via donation, it wasn't game breaking , but it just felt wrong.

I mean, it's basically already pay-to-win. I'm just thinking of more ways for the folks that bring us enjoyment to get more donations. My financial house isn't in the best shape, but you can rest assured, once it is... my wife will be pissed. lol

Well, there basically already is a donate for xeg token, called make a SK, get super powerful donor 1 weapon ---- ????? ---- solo xegony --- profit???

What about an item that teleports your group/raid to a zone not accessible to those without the item?

Kinda like a Cow Level.

Special loot, unique zone, scales to your current flag status. The zone doesn't even have to be unique, it could be a zone not currently being utilized.

I suppose this could also be a quest item, a SUPER epic quest.

That idea is, in my opinion, totally "unthinkable".
Donor items are already the best and put you totally on a different scale that non-donor people can't reach.
So with a donor item (with incredible stats), you will be able to enter a zone with loot (with super stats) that people who haven't paid will never get a chance to get ?
It's a double advantage for donor people and it sets them again even higher that they were before. Too powerful for me, too unfair.

I think, but that's a personnal opinion, that there is already a very large number of donor items that cover up pretty much everything considering that developpers have already covered everything else with normal drops on various zones.
Only thing I could think of is to donate for godly points as people can donate for ldon.

That's all, but that donor zone is just insane to me, (no offense to you).

False ! Donor item missed a cool shield for priest class !

Ok, what I meant was that the item could piggy back your group/raid into the zone.

But I do see your point. "The rich get richer, the poor get poorer"


I don't, however; think that the donor items are all inclusive and complete. There is LOTS of room for low cost donation items. $5-10 and under. Could even adjust the prices for something as simple as a name, gender, or race change. Spending almost a $20 bill for one of those changes is a bit steep. 10 bucks and people might think about it, $5 and people will gladly say "put it on my tab".

More options on the distillers! I think you would get more people to shell out money if it were more like, $5 for 5, rather than $30 for 20 distillers and 40 prismatics. Yeah, you get more items when you purchase the larger amount, but most people might just be after the distillers.

But that's what this thread is all about. Spit-balling ideas and commentary!
