There were a few miscellaneous fixes that were put into the coding over the past two reboots that could be the source of the issue. We are currently working back through each and testing them individually to see if we can find some kind of desync potential/possibility with them.

It just takes time and patience to isolate what exactly is the cause.

I have a problem in VT this morning.

* Lost 17 out of 18 characters
* Could not load THF.org
* Could not see THF Login Server
* All other websites were fine. Could load ESPN.com and watch Videos, CNN, etc.
* Galdace stayed connected and had no problem.
* Others reported no issues via /OOC

Are you still experiencing this? May have just been a temporary bump in the connection service since you were unable to access anything related to the server.

Similar thing just happened to me. Everything was fine and then all chars crashed and couldn't log in / load thf site etc for about 5+ min.

Last night during patch and later on today been experiencing latency where i cast and 2-3 seconds later it finally happens. Shortly before i left to goto a family thing i experienced a random disconnect across all instances of my game while sitting in guild hall attacking the dummies ill try to log back in and it wont let me saying to check my connection although i have Pandora and other tabs aswell as raidcall running without issue in the background. To fix the issue to log back in i end up having to restart my computer wait 2-5 mins then i can log back in perfectly.

Sitting in GH after farming ST dungeon all day, screw around get new armour augmented, etc and settled down while talking to guildies, one guildie mentions he's losing connection and poofs from game while remaining in raidcall, shortly thereafter i end up DCing while remaining in raidcall.. Guildie decided to log in though the egemu login server and while it would not let him log in via the private login server. No idea what's wrong but its something about the synchronization within your private login.

Lost 3 of 6 characters 8/31/14 at 8:21pm EST in Icewell Keep. Yaeger OOC'd that he lost 15 of 18 in Vex Thal at the same moment.

The login server showed no connection for a minute or two before it allowed me to see the server select screen. Also I attempted to come to the forum to write this post and it gave me a no response for the same minute or two.

Located in FL using Comcast if that type of data needs to begin being collected. Hope the fix isn't too much work for you guys! Thanks for a great server.

Symptoms I have been having for the past few days.

Logging in:

Using the THF login server, when I would initially start, I would get to the server select, and have no servers showing. (close out and try again)

Getting past the server select, I would then hang, on the character selecet (close out and try again)

Getting past the character select screen, I would never connect to the zone, as in when I zone my pet will show before my character shows up, in this case the pet never shows up, and I (close out and go through the login process again)

When I zone, I sometimes just hang, and hang, for over 5 mintues, (close out and login again)

I am seeing pets and PC's running past mobs they are running up to engage.
I also am seeing PC's disappearing only to re-appear a second or two later.
additionally I am getting d-synced on multiple characters at one time.

I am mostly killing in both T1 and T2 of Dreadspire.

Hope that info can help out in anyway.

Just curious, what ISP are you using? Also did you recently change anything with your network connection?

I was have very similar issues you described with logging in and staying connected/desyncing. But I had just upgraded to a 3.0 docsis modem the week prior and had been having issues all over my home network with lots of random things. I switched back to my 2.0 modem and haven't had any issues since. Again, just curious, obviously this does not apply to everyone, but just something we are looking into.
