Looting issue

I cannot loot anymore on my character Michaelous. whenever I try to loot an item (or click loot all) I get the message "You may not loot an item while you have an item on your cursor" although I do not have an item on my cursor. I've tried clicking an empty spot in my inventory, relogging, a different client, and different zones.

While I don't know the cause of it yet, I know what you can do for now. I believe that the few times I encountered that, I was able to overcome it by moving two bags in my inventory. Try moving your top left bag (bag slot 1) to another spot and then try looting. I may be a little hazy on the process, but I do remember shuffling my inventory around for a few clicks and then it worked.
