IS there any way to download the updated files seperately. The THF patcher is EXTREMELY slow.

Which file is it trying to download that is going slow? We did some work on the repository when we upgraded to RoF2 capability and may have messed up some settings on a few files.

The only file that needs to be updated atm is spells_us.txt . No idea how big it is, dont think it sohuld take the whole evening though. There is also no resume in the patcher if it looses connection halfway all progress is lost

Solk try re downloading the patcher. I don't know why it would take anymore than a few minutes. I am in Italy on very sketchy connection and am able to download the file in about 4 Mins
The host server for the file is U.S. Based, where are you located?

Currently I'm in China, so my internet connection is probably sketchier than yours
I'll try to download the patcher again. I also get a .net error sometimes when i start the patcher

Coupes things:
1) Your network may be limiting the download. I know a few other china players have had past issues. You may try using a VPN to navigate around the country's internet restrictions.
2) Make sure you have .NET framework 4.5.1 or higher. The patcher requires it to run properly.
3) If all else fails, you can download specific files from here:
viewtopic.php?f=37&t=10443 this is typically reserved for XP users because they cannot use NET framework 4.5.1 but it can also serve as a back up to the patcher system.

Just tested here in AZ - patched 4 directories with the one updated file in under 2 minutes.
