black screen on login

lately when i log in i have a black screen on all my characters.
i've tried move character to no avail.
account Ranger01 - toon is Linnol
account Lnnolanwil - toon is Gromit
so - another account of mine is workinf fine and can see character Linnol in THF - so character move has shifted him there - but his screen is blank -(black). Same applies to Gromit.
But if i switch to those toons and move them with the forward or turn buttons- other toons i have running nearby can see them see them moving about.
