The monk aa destructive force has a unknown spell AE unknown Melee 3 (id 5242) when i cast it, the aa works i think...his all the mobs around me once, but i thought it would be more like the zerker ae spell where it last for a bit of a duration but could be wrong. just wanted to point it out incase something else was wrong with the spell


EDIT: Also the recast is still 1 hour when in the aa window it says 7min, i believe you changed it in an old topic but doesnt seem to be changed, and when i click on it again it says Unknown DB string 830-1 you can use again in blah blah.

I patched this with a copy of the cyclone blade disc as it's sort of the same, right?
Recast set to 7 mins.

no >< it's 100% different. Cyclone blade gives aggro and only does like 50 damage, destructive force is more like Rampage.

I believe destructive force is meant to be more like the berserker aa, (cant remember name) where it gives a short duration of ae damage, not just one swing.

aye on live it was the monks only AE ability i used to use it all the time mix Destructive Force with Whirlwind disc and monks are taking out trains...the ability was an AE that lasted 10 seconds iirc but i know it didnt last longer then 10 for a fact....but was a good way to help CC get a hold on mobs at times or help save a lowbie who trained themselfs or in my case helped me gather tinkering supplies in C.C. or Corathus Creep

Okay let me rephrase this lol. As of the past 6 months on this server it has always done exactly what Rampage does. Rampage takes your next 3 rounds of swings and makes them do AE damage, I know on live it was different but here that's what it does.

Destructive force was doing the same thing as Rampage, I can't say what it did on live since I never played a monk on live. Going to have to trust others on that one!
