timing on spell is wrong. when i cast this on myself or a PC it only last 4 min unlike the 9 min it shows it should......only when I cast on bot or my pet does it last the 9 min.

The data you see from the magelo/alla clone don't always reflect 100% how it is in game or how it should be especialy in regards of spells duration/recast.

In case of Lingering Slooth i am pretty sure its intended only to last 4 mins considering on live its the same http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=8015&source=Live

but i happen to know that just the other day it did last for 9min, if it is now set to only 4 min why is it that on NPC (pet and bot ) that it is lasting 9 min ??

Could it be that that you casted it on a bot and than the bot somehow went inactive or was camped ?
I mean the only real way to test it since you dont have access to a bot's buff timers is to cast and than wait for the wear off message to get the exact time.

Let me actually check it with my shaman when i get on.

Errm ok well one thing i can say after casting lingering sloth on shaman pet and casted it on shaman too the timer is the same.
Hmm with Bulwark of the Dragon + max bene foci AA i actualy get 16 mins duration.

No the bot did not get camped or inactive

I cast it on pet and bot one right after the other and waited for timer to run out and send the message, they both lasted the same amount. So looking at my pets buffs for the time left on the buff let me know that on NPC my buff will last 9min 6 sec

So back to my question
Why is the timer on this spell 9min 6 sec when I cast it on a NPC (bot/pet) and only 4 min when I cast it on self/alts ??

You didn't read my last post or ?

I tested it on the shaman and on the shaman pet and it shows on both the exact same timer duration.

yes i did.......are you using SOF? as I am. as I wrote the timing changed on it just the other day the timing was the same on NPC/PC. it has only been sense the server change that I have had this problem

Not much i can add but

a) we didn't change anything in regards to this (or similar) spells
b) The Data you see on the clone is the Live Data that is used on THF
c) The Code itself sometimes adjusted the numbers found in the Live DB, most prominent example are AC buffs (you got about 1/3 in game of what is shown on the Clone)
d) neither in the Changelog nor on the EQEmu forums is any mention of thie Spell so i guess it must be a fluke on your end and/or with the SoF Client
