Silent Storm

For the Lvl 70 Paladin Spell, "Silent Storm" which is an aura to turn away detrimental spells or heal grievous wounds for 1:00, is that supposed to be an upgrade to the 69 spell "Silent Piety", which has the same description but only a 15:00 duration?

I ask because they do the same thing, and the 69 spell stacks fine with weapon proc ("Knight's Storm") where the 70 spell overwrites it.

Just wondering if this was intentional or an oops :)
Thanks,

-Loth

It was intended to combine the procs of the two buffs into one spell to reduce the amount of buff slots needed.

did you look up the spell info on the clone?..

Silent Storm: Spell Effects
2 : Effect type : Increase Chance to Resist Spell by 10%
9 : Effect type : Add Proc:Strike of the Knight
11 : Effect type : Add Proc:Pious Fury Strike

its more than just resist spell buff.

Ahhh, my bad! No, I hadn't looked on Clone, just read the in game description, and hadn't actually tried it in combat. Thx info!

Alot of in game spell descriptions are innaccurate. Checking the clone is usually the best thing to do to find out exactly what a spell does
