The click on this item says that it lasts 30 minutes, but the effect lasts closer to 3 minutes at lvl61. Could there be a missing 0 in there somewhere?

The description on the item is wrong, it's intentionally 5 mins recast time.

So it wasn't intended to be maintained indefinitely? D: I actually thought it was a bit underpowered compared to WoA.

If the intention is for the spell to be active all the time, why not just make the buff 30 minutes or an hour to remove the need to click it every few minutes? We bards have our hands full with clicking as it is lol.

That's exactly the point, not to make bards an afk "bot" class!

I think you should try /melody 1 2 3 4

I appretiate the responses. /melody is pretty time consuming now also because my instrument skills are so low that it's frequently interupted. I try to leave my character online (afk) to raise them but it's been over a week and I still don't have one caught up to my level yet.

NPC in the forest will max your singing skills with one hail.
