MQ2AutoLogin and WinEQ2

Hey all,

Trying to get things set back up after a long break and I'm having a hard time with my automatic logins. I've checked the thread with really great info and alas, even though I clearly had this working in the past, I'm failing. Autologin works just fine if I launch normally (eqgame shortcut) but when I try and launch using WinEQ2 profiles (cuz I really gotta have my hotkeys to switch between characters for certain things...) it just sits there waiting for me to accept the EULA. I'm at my wits end and have spent far more time than I probably should, but I'm stubborn...

Anyone have an idea for me?

I was in the same boat but I dont use WinEQ..yet. Make sure you manually log your toons in at least once. Then double check the server number. For me it was 1.

Thanks for the ideas.

I've logged in with the characters and have the server number set to 1 (HiddenForest=1) and like I said it works if I launch eqgame but not when I launch WinEQ shortcuts. So it seems to be an issue of WinEQ preventing MQ2AutoLogin from running... hopefully logs will shed some light.

Odd, it works for me with WinEQ2 (I love WinEQ2!) so you can definitely use both! Are you using separate WinEQ profiles for every character? Also what are your everquest settings for WinEQ in EverQuest -> General? Might be something there that's different that might be causing it, not sure what though.

After playing around with WindEQ, I also can not get it to work with my mq2autologin icons, nor can I point it to them.
