Wineq2 Failed to Attach

When I attempt to use Wineq2, I get the message:
Titled: WinEQ2 cannot properly launch the game!
WinEQ 2 was able to launch c:\Everquest UF\eqgame.exe, but failed to attache to it
EQ was not already running.
I edited the EQ path under preferences.
Can't seem to find any information through lord google.
Anyone have a clue?
