The Hidden Forest

Pretty happy about this, took many tries and a lot of time thinking about how to set up my hotkeys and use every item available that could help. Ended up being about a 20 minute fight. Really fun and challenging. Did this a few days ago but just now thought to post the SC.

Some may be confused at my lack of INT classes, I played a necro originally in EQ and haven't played an int caster since I guess I got my fill.

Ahh, the Sleeper! I remember my first, and I was similarly stoked! Hardly went well, but winning was the goal, not 100% survival.

Well I had some help. Several years ago I played on here with a friend and was able to gear up my SK to full T5 and a few items from the ascent, mostly because that friend had a mage with donator weapon which gave us all the dps and tanking we needed to kill everything up to Xegony, but we couldn't do Xeg herself without a bonafide tank. In the end we quit without killing Xeg, but not before gearing up my SK in preparation for her.

So, since coming back it's just been a matter of leveling and gearing up DPS characters to complement the well geared tank that I already had, so naturally I should have been able to get back to killing Xeg pretty quickly, which I did.. the real hard stuff for me starts with T6 since my tank isn't geared for it yet. (having said that though, I did just walk in to Fear and kill Dracoliche first try, got lucky with the tank shield, too.. I'm on a roll! Fear golems are next, gonna be a DPS test, thinking about starting a wizard to help with that)

The Sleeper kill was extra hard because the strong AE means that having a good tank is only half the battle.
