Lately, my ranger bots wont keep assisting me, they like to break off and find their own mob to tank(say.. a 3+ pull in icewell). Im using warrior with ranger bot and cleric box. Once in awhile it gets slain, and not really sure how much it was trying to heal itself at the time. Its heals seem to be managed much better though lately. When it is supporting me on one mob, i can see that it fights when its spell isnt ready, and helps with dps like a good ranger. And sometimes I'm at half hp and its swinging away, not casting for longer than a spell refresh probably is.

So, I support having the option to let it do an automatic set of rules. As for our custom commands, we should be able to see its buff list--
#bot spelllist --, which probably includes automatic buffs which it keeps on group members, and the extra stuff it has available..

#bot stop Hmm follow me, but dont do a derned thing. I can see only a few instances like mana regen, or pulling a mob, or near a mob, that could range ae on me, then bot goes runnin out of range to attack.

#bot focus Assist me on the mob im attacking now, and attack it until its dead, only stopping to replenish health or buffs, then resume the same assisted mob attack.

#bot healfocus maybe force the importance of chain healing if necessary.

Well there is chain heal, then there is waisting mana. My cleric bot has a really bad habit of chaining HoTs which just uses all it's mana up then it's oom and I'm dead or close to it. Should be some way for it to detect when the HoT wears off, then cast another.

No idea how to do it, but have the rogue bots use evade.

#bot attack off
#bot hide
#bot attack on

The basic premise is to keep DPS bots from attacking (ie #bot guard) until the mob reaches a certain health percentage. I used to do this a lot with my MQ boxes on PEQ so that the tank would have a chance to secure aggro or prevent the DPS from attacking an incoming pull.

My Rogue bot is rather suicidal and often kills himself on any mobs which AE or if he gets lucky and slams the mob harder than my initial aggro.

Was this ever implemented? I'm looking to cut down on the micromanagement of my high aggro rogue bot.

If this "#bot attackpct #" command isn't going to be implemented, could you add a "#bot don't attack until I tell you to even if I have auto attack on" command. This would alleviate me from having to hit #bot guard after every mob and every aoe.

I'm already doing this. I just wish I could eliminate one or two keystrokes. This is a dream list after all.

I would like to see:

Code: Select all

/sa #bot feigndeath

To make monk and possibly sk/nec bots feign death!

Was this ever implemented? I just tried to turn off the HOT spellcasting of my Cleric bot to no avail. He continues to spam me with Celestial Healing, even when there is 15 seconds remaining on the previous one he cast.
