Ogre warrior: Slam or Kick?

Pretty simple question i guess... but im not sure which is the ability i want to use as a 70 warrior. I played back in 2000-01 era so I just dont know if slam or kick is superior or its situational.

Not sure as I'm to lazy to use either (and I'm not an Ogre) but can't slam interrupt spell casting?

Once the warriors hit level 55, their kick get the interupt ability in it. And kick deal more dmg then slam. Well at least thats what i remeber from live

If I recall slam deals one point of damage but stuns the mob for two seconds. The problem is, 99% of mobs on THF are immune to stun, and the ones that aren't aren't really worth stunning. Stick with kick IMO, it does much better damage

That's exactly what I remembered from over a decade ago as well -- that kick gets some sort of innate interrupt at higher levels. But I just didnt know if that still applies.

I mean... I've learned that my monk's weight doesnt even matter now! :o

From the standard EMU code..

Kick:
dmg=((((Skill + STR + level)*100 / 9000) * multiple) + 600)/100

Warriors get a 20% bonus on top.

Bash:
dmg=(((((Skill + STR)*100 + Level * 100 /2) / 10000) * multiple) + 600)/100


'multiple' is 1400 at level 70

AC adds a bonus amount tp the final figure, depending on a server side modifier. Plug all that into a spreadsheet and see how you go..


Of course THF might do it totally differently ;-)
