I don't disagree with the previous posters in that you should play one of the three tank classes if you want to progress very far.
That being said, you do have an optimal trio for a bard. There is no better dps class to accompany a bard tank than a necro. All others generate too much aggro. The pet is a good chunk of aggro-free dps, and if the necro spells ever overtake the bard in aggro... well there is FD for that. Further, you'll have to play Zuriki's Song of Shenanigans to maintain any semblance of AOE aggro, along with all of the Kiss of Life procs you can muster. Even with that, I have a feeling that adds will hop on the cleric and make quick work of your trio.
Alas, for a donor-free trio with a bard as a tank, I don't think you'll kill any bosses in T2, and very few in T1. Would be fun to try though! Can always add a tank later.
Besides this is all just speculation anyway. I have tanked T8 bosses (two of them) with a non-donor bard. It required several minutes of solo dps just to build up a strong enough aggro lead to unleash the raid dps, and lots of healers. Talk about the health bar playing ping pong... Was a blast though!
