Alchemy Skill reset to Zero???

Hey everyone! I had spent quite some time trying to get my alchemy skill up, Ive definitely seen WAY too many Deepwater Inks lol. After being gone for several months I have returned to discover that after starting to work that skill up again its telling me my Alchemy skill is 2!!!! Its hard enough tryin to get it to the point I can start making Djinn potions, but now youve takin it away lol. WHAT HAPPENED???? Vaion Help!!!!

I'm sorry, should I be petitioning? I wouldn't complain if I hadn't put so much time in, and we all know how much it takes to get that skill up. Please tell me how to fix this!!

I'm not sure what to tell you. We didn't reset any skills and the only NPC that actually can influence your Alchemy skill (Wimbledink in THF) will only set your alchemy skill from 0 to 1, he'll do nothing if your skill level is above 1.

I had tried combining and it said I failed and my skill was at 2 now. Theres no way it just reset? You guys are good getting bugs so it couldnt be that...
Is there a way for you to verify what my skill used to be? I really love this game and everything you all have done, please dont make me have to start over....there has to be a reasonable explination and solution.
