The Hidden Forest

I have never had any particle effects on either of the computers I run EQ THF on. I was previously doing P99 with the Titanium Edition install disks, and I had spell particles. From the Underfoot install download from THF site, I don't.

I am sure there is either something to switch in one of the ini files, or some switch in the options that I am missing. I have perused eqclient.ini and see several different spell particle effect entries, with numbers attatched. I have not experimented with those yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

eq.ini should have a line showspelleffects= , set that line to TRUE and it should work.

It can be done in the options; Display tab; Particles; go through the Spell/Env/Player settings. Since I multi-box here I have them all off, on P99 I use group since I solo and can see what is being casted.
