The Hidden Forest

Probably should have posted this in the quest area but thought maybe it would be seen here first.

Was working on my Unrest quest tonight but when I got to the point where Groundskeeper Billy is supposed to hand me the box to collect the Soul Stones into, he didn't. He took the instructions from Pappa Tobias, gave me no plat or XP in return but said his thing about life stones and if I could give a hand. Nothing after. I clicked repeatedly on the trigger word, tried typing it in. Stood on him, zoned and came back, rinse and repeat. Nada. Broken. Halp!!!

I'd also post this in the petition forum, if it's a broken quest Lillu may be able to help.

Nothing was changed to the Unrest task line in a good while but I'll look into it.

IDK if it was just me or what. My husband and daughter both have been doing the quest and have had no problems at all. Maybe having full bag slots prevented me from getting the bag from Billy for the soulstones? Is it possible to have the quest reset for my char and I can just start over. I went back just now to check to see if Billy would give me the bag but all he does is keeping asking if Pappa Tobias gave me something for him.

The quest seems to be fine and yeah, it's quite possible that a full inventory prevented you from receiving an item. It's also important to do the quests in order, each step will flag you for the next step and allow you to progress that way. This ques tline is pretty complex. What exactly does Groundskeeper Billy tells you when you hail him? Which task do you have active/completed from this quest line?

Alright, the step that I am up to is the "And That is When Billy Would Send Me Walking". I have completed all the steps in order up until this one.
I received the note from Pappa Tobias, turned it into Billy. Billy started to stay his dialogue and said up to the following: " "Excellent. A Life Stone, eh? This will be some work. I hope you can give me a hand?"

He didn't finish the dialogue shown in the WiKi for this quest and he didn't hand me the bag to combine the soulstones. I repeatedly clicked on "hand", which was highlighted as the trigger word but nothing.

As of now, when I hail him he says "I've heard you were in contact with Pappa Tobias. Did he have anything for me?" That tells me that he needs the instructions from Tobias but I had already handed those to him.

I do apologize for being a nuisance.

It seems you were ready and able to get the next task from Papa Tobias just fine. The next task is Oh, Billy! Good luck.

But what about this part? Maybe you can replace the bag he should of given them? I don't know.
