Druid Group 3
Wizard Group 3
Wizard Group 3
Necro Group 3
Beastlord Group 4
Bezerker Group 4
Monk Group 4

Whats your thoughts about this? I am looking for the most optimized groups here capable doing high end content later on

Idk the specifics as well as some people around here since my job is just to find new ways to mass murder players, but quick EQ / THF knowledge, I think it would be fine with that settup. Only thing I would worry about is having 1 warrior. There are some bosses that specifically have higher dps output against non-warriors. Not to say it isn’t possible, but I have personally made some encounters with that in mind.

Thanks for the hint Vaion, now that im in T7 with a SK as my only house of cards tank...
I currently run 15 and highly seperate them out:
Group 1: SK, SHM, CLR1
Group 2: BRD, ROG, BRZ, MNK, CLR2, BST
Group 3: DRU, WIZ, MAG, NEC, BST, ENC
After a lot of parsing the bard helps a lot more with the melee than with the pet group, though I use the Sune arms for all 3 so the buffs really arent holding anyone back. The only one of my toons that ever dies is the beastlord.
CLR 1 only heals the tank, CLR 2 + dru/shm do rest

I feel the composition of multiple groups is really catering to your play style.
With that said, I believe the dev's are switching their focus from raid style encounters to group instanced/scalable style ones.
As someone who has 5 grps I'd say to start with one or two max and add on as needed. I've fallen behind the progression timeline in comparison to my peers due to the sheer time commitment a 5 group raid requires. Kind of feels like a waste tbh, what I can do with 5 groups some can do solo or 1-3 groups.
Vaion's probably had fun mass murdering my toons

I run 3 groups with 0 donor gear (though i do use Sune arm from inventory for buffs) and so far ive not had any real "i need more chars!" moments, so i think your 4 groups is probably even a bit overkill and you'll steamroll.
The only problem i see running 4 groups is the amount of times youll have to repeat some quests, and there are soooo many quests youll want to do on all your chars, it'll be a right grind (if you do choose to do on all chars).
Might even be a grind in gearing everyone up too, though i guess more chars means needing less gear, simply because more chars makes up for the lack in equipment.

Not needed, just have a shiny clickable object that DTs you. Instant kerran death loops.
