Having trouble connecting through the thf login server, says userid/pass wrong or times out. I have linked the accounts earlier and it was working until the server was taken down/transfered/

Any suggestions?

Can you try again? The ISP had some instabilities about 1h ago.

I tried again, here are the contents of my eqhost.ini file:

[LoginServer]
####Host=eqemulator.net:5998
Host=login.thehiddenforest.org:5998

I switch betweent he eqemu and the thf login by attaching thr ####'s to the line I want to nullify.

When i switch, the eqemu works fine, but when I try the thf it doesn't (was working fine until the server came down).

I have tried just the thf and it doesn't work.

I am going to try to link the accounts again and see if that is the problem. I had just linked the accounts a day or 2 at the most before the big swap.

Yes that was the issue. I logged in using the eqemu info and linked the account again with the #setlsinfo your@email.com password and then nulled the eqemu login info and took out the #'s and bingo, logged in.\

Hope this helps anyone else you has encountered this problem at any rate.

The character I created most recently, a cleric named moenghus, had vanished once I linked the accounts.

Not a huge deal, I just remade him again. Just thought I should let you should someone else post about the issue.
