The Hidden Forest

Can anyone tell me what the full requirements are for this quest? The posting on the server update simplys says that the players is required to have the 6th charm upgrade. However, when myself and a few other people attempt to get this quest from the quest giver, the npc does not respond. So obviously there are additional requirements other than what was stated.

Are you in Natimbi ?
Is the npc's name Figgle ?
Do you have the npc named Figgle targeted when hailing ?
Are you standing close enough to the npc named Figgle ?
Do you have the 6th charm on the toon you are hailing with ?

You are correct there are other requirements such as them stated above.

As far as the quest script goes: if(plugin::check_hasitem($client, 9558)){ means all you need is item 9558 which is the Exceptional Charm of Queen Adrianne on your toon to get a response but thats only for the npc to assign the task, you should still get a reply without the charm and denied progression.

Many have completed the quest already, it seems to be working fine as far as i can tell server side.

Yes, I had the charm and I was standing right on top of him, plus any other position I could try. I decided to go ahead and do some of the quests inside natimbi and lo and behold now I can get the quest. Now when I try to go into riwwi I get a message about not being experienced enough to pass through.

This^ is about as irrelevant to the quest as one can get, however if it fixed your issue then all i can say is Yay!...

It must not be irrelevant. I couldn't get the quest and then I started the explorers badge quest and now I can get it. Seems related to me.

were you invisd? i invisd to him and he wouldn't respond to any hails with it up... but many quest mobs are like that on this server =P

since the explorers badge quest is totally unrelevant, I bet this was the case

Personally, I just wrecked my train of mobs at Figgle's feet. Had no problems starting the event. Have to say, this is a fun one. Kudos to Devs on this little quest!!

Did have an issue sorting out which zonelines were active, but got that figured out. I'm on my phone, but will post more info on that later.

You do have to have the Badge quest finished to get into Qimini I believe. Maybe that was the problem, if you cant get into Qimini then you cant move forward to the next zone to do the charm quest.
