i had no issues logging into server without a forum account or spell files or the thf installer, after installing the custom spell file i logged in fine, after installing the thf installer the game just closes itself after blackscreen right before char select =( I have tried both inzipping extracting myself and the installer...same result. Please help!

Which client do you have, ti or sod?
Also find the debug text file and clear it, try to log in the post that

searched everquest directory for "debug" ddidnt come up with anything, do you know how I might fix this? I didnt do anything clicks other then what was required to move the files I dont understand this driving me nuts.

have you played on another server using that client? most specifically p99? if so you will probably need to do a fresh install into a seperate directory, and then update everything there for this server. P99 has almost 0 compatibility with other servers, and due to the changes you have to make to run on that server, your almost always better off setting up a different directory for p99 and THF - Shards of Dalaya also is another server that you cant just patch from thf and expect to be able to play.

my advice - have a seperate install of EQ for every server you wish to play on, or intend to play on, that way theres no compatibility issues.

thats great and all but I was able to login and zone into your server with p99 settings I only started having issues when I used the THF installer.

regardless of what caused it, a fresh install will fix it.
