Aggro issues with Seravince event

Having aggro issues with the Seravince event in HoH now, not sure if the event has been changed or if this is a bug. Seravince is currently loosing all aggro on my warrior and killing everyone one around him even if they have not engaged him at all. Also i am unable to regain aggro on my warrior with disc, skills, and clickies. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I killed him yesterday and experienced no problems on my warrior. Are you tanking with your shield?

yes but i have no problem with aggro on other bosses. Also i lost aggro when only pets were dpsing.

Hmm that certainly is strange. I killed him mere hours ago with zero issues. I can only hypothesize a few things:
1) A cleric cast divine aura on you.
2) You were disconnected and were trying to get aggro during the timeout process.
3) You accidentally clicked your FD item.
Ultimately, I think your warrior lost connection with the server somehow - hedging my bets on that.

seravince has a much higher resist check than the other bosses, and your nadox shield click will not land usually unless he's been debuffed. are you double checking to make sure your shield / etc aren't getting resisted and that he's fully debuffed (enchanter 2.0, WoP, malos, etc)? I've known a few tanks who've had problems with this, that was usually the reason (so far).

I dunno what happened on him but he decided to kill every toon around him mid fight even if they had not attacked him or cast any spells what so ever before he went back to my warrior. Still don't have nadox shield...

Also this happened on 4 attempts in a row. First time we thought it might have been a distance issue but that wouldnt have been the case last couple attempts

The only suggestion I'd have would be to stick a bane weapon in your offhand instead of the shield and debuff him / spend a solid minute or two before engaging your dps just building aggro. Not sure why he'd go after toons that hadn't even engaged, but that's all I can think of
I've never experienced that, and I've done him a few times since the last reboot.
