The Hidden Forest

All,

I was given some radiant crystals by a friend and every time I try to 'reclaim' them, my EQ crashes quite hard.

I have the underfoot client, if that matters. It crashed with the previous latest spell file / installer, and the brand new one. I have tried running EQ as 'admin' to no avail. It has crashed 5 times in a row, trying various small different things (ungrouped, un raided, etc etc).

I haven't played on any other EQEMU than THF.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the report. Can you give me a little more information by answering these questions:

1) How many crystals were you trying to reclaim?
2) Were the crystals on your cursor?
3) Were the crystals in the main part of your inventory (with your bags/clickies)
4) Were the crystals in a bag?
5) Were the crystals in the bank?
6) Was it just a client crash or an actual zone crash?


Answering each of those will help me narrow down the issue =)

1. At first a thousand. Assuming that was the issue, I went down to 10 (gave to another toon to troubleshoot).
2. In cursor and not in cursor.
3. Tried in a bag and open 'slot' of inventory.
4. Tried with more crystals in the bank, and just the original 10 (on a toon).
6. EQ / Windows crash.

Probably not as helpful, but thought I'd post anyways. This is repeatable on different toons, but I can't test on a different computer, sadly.

Something that caught my eye in the first screen shot, is that you are trying to access the Alt. Currency tab in the inventory. That is why you are crashing. I've been meaning to fix that issue for a long while now, but it was buried in my notes below 10,000 other things.

To reclaim crystals use the "Reclaim" button in the main inventory page. Depending on your UI it should be near your money icons in the inventory.

That did it! I never saw that reclaim button.
