Posted in the general help thread for my monk, asking a few fresh 70 questions. The conversation came up about melee DPS, and I asked before putting more time into the monk, if I could ever match or at least come close enough to match zerker DPS? If I'm going to play a melee DPS, I'd like to play the best melee DPS out there

I'll be rolling a shammy soon here and 2 boxing with either my monk, or re-rolling him to make a zerker. I've tried as much research as I could throughout the forums, but most posts are months or even years out of date... So I thought I would just ask.

No you cannot catch zerker dps, and zerker cannot catch rogue.

Monk will be better tank then zerker if you duo, really well geared u can duo till tier 7 and maybe oligrath/draekon but that will be a real challenge

With donors, practically nothing will catch a zerker. But if you exclude all that, monks hold their own fairly well. Rogues will still be king, however. But as stated, monks do fairly well at avoiding death, and you can't dps/kill things if you're dead
