epic mob encounters

Hi guys just a questin here ...now i know there arnt alot of folks on this server and the top guild on the server to me doesnt really need epic mobs anymore do they ? im trying to figure out why the mobs are never up is there a way to change respan times on them or are they on perma farm and no one else able to kill them unless said guild decides they will let others kill them . I like this server alot and it always seems theres a few elitest people that dont want to let others progress theres more then enough contenet here for higher end guilds to be buisy with that then to kill mobs and not let others do so can call this drama if you d like w/e just wondering if we us that arnt elitest folks have a morsel thanks guys good server and thanks for letting me have a say ....

The respawn time is reduced to 12 hours for unicorns. The "eye" bosses has 24 hours respawn time.

You are having trouble with which mobs?

Agreed. The epic 1.5 mobs are becoming somewhat of a bottle-neck, even with a 12-hour respawn. Our guild has the forces to take the mobs down; but whenever we gather the forces, the epic mobs have been killed.

Not to point fingers, but I don't understand why a guild has to make an epic-1.5-mob sweep daily. How many epics are you really completing each time, if any?

I know that it is difficult to walk the line between building the element of competition that really defines EverQuest, and preventing c*ck-blocking, so I don't really know the best solution to the problem. Thanks Tyler&Lillu for your continued efforts to make this server great.

We managed to nab the unicorns, but we haven't been able to catch the eye mobs up yet.

Holy non-punctuation batman!

Agreed though. What's the detrimental harm in putting the unicorns, mayong, garanel, terrorantula, and spectre on a shorter respawn? Leave naggy/trak but these others should be at least attainable for those of us not in the clique that keeps them on lockdown. No drama intended, just want a reasonable fair fix to this problem.

Agreed. I can understand longer spawn times, but for a quest that is a goal for everyone on the server, and with there only being a limit of 6 people able to work on it at once (because of the 6 drops) it seems that the spawn time should be maybe 2-4 hours?

Also brings up the situation of some people only being able to play at certain times, and if guilds and/or other players are constantly farming, then there is the possibility of no chance of people doing the quest.

As I said, I can understand the long spawn times for these mobs, but with the possibility of only 6 people per day being able to complete it with guilds constantly farming, it gives many people few chances to do it for themselves.

The spawntimes on all Ancient 1.5 (not to say Epic ;)) mobs have been reduced to 6h. Exceptions are Trakanon, Nagafen and Aerin in PoValor.
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed

Thank you guys. I know you have a lot put in to the server and every request isn't possible, but hopefully this will be a step closer to the progression of more players. Just hopefully that farming these mobs when actually not needed won't be a problem.
