Server locked?!

Is the server locked, or is my EQ install messed up?
Mystickitty convinced me to come back around... and well, I tried but the server is locked

It was but not anymore, we just had a reboot to push the Holiday event live!

Well, it works on my desktop, but when I try to run it on my laptop I get
"Error in your GUI XML files. Check UIErrors.txt"
But UIErrors.txt is empty o.O

Just for the record, I tried copying over my uifiles folder from my desktop directory (over 500 files) and it didn't make a difference. I found another post with someone else having the same problem but there was never a solution posted on it.
I'll will investigate it more later, time to get ready for work...

Turns out, the problem was using the THF Downloader try to go into the game. When I use eqgame.exe to login, I have no problems getting into the character select screen... but every time I click play on the THF Downloader is throws the GUI XML error and won't load the game.
