The Hidden Forest

I've never seen this before any any EQEmu server, but I think it would be fun to make any race able to play any class...Troll Paladin anyone?

I think Secrets made a server that had a quest that would allow any race class combo ... Gnome monk FTW

IMHO all races all classes is unrealistic- I really didn't like when they did it in EQ2
Ogre/troll Enchanters running around just made me sick - umm yeah right, when did they got intelligent???

So gnome monks are ridiculous imho, personally I would even remove warriors, sk and paladins from them. Gnomes are tiny fragile race, i only see them as pure casters and rogues.
On other hand Froglok Beastlord would be a realistic race/class combo - racial pet - Turtle! =)
Dark Elf Bards would be interesting. Iksar Rogues.

When the beastlord class came out I aways wanted to be a Froglok beastlore with a mosquito pet ... just in case I got hungry!

keep in mind there would be some bugs associated ( IE robes not showing as robes on trolls ect......

i think it should be that way chaos, instance troll enchanters and orge enchanters, who cares, BUT they will still be STUPID!!!!! so that would suck as a race combo, Mainly all race and class is for people who like to play frogs or cats and want to play a new class or a guild needs a class but someone who is willing to play a alt wants say a frog monk, or a beastlord, the beastlord pet for a frogloc could be a spider or a frog LOL maybe a bat, they seem to have alot of those around thier home of guk, besides the frogs, maybe make a mulumb epic beastlord pet where you have a giant pet that looks like mulumb in warrens LOL giant tadpole dragon LOL.


Ps. meaning u would only pic a race for its racial stats, or roleplay maybe, noone said anything about what STUPID Players do chaos, Smart players would just pick things they like like a vah monk is realistic big strong beast with hi agi dex sta and str would make a good monk!! I would donate to do any class race i wish, only good thing about eq2 was the FULL Chance to ROLE PLAY your race, you could be GOOD or EVIL, and you could chose any job(class or trade) you wanted. Makes perfect since for someone who likes RPGs which is what EQ is. Online RPG for all sorts of people to join and make friends like a giant chat room to kill things in

If you think about it, all the GM trainers in the cave are Dark Elves...Dark Elf Ranger? Dark Elf Paladin? Dark Elf Shaman? I think it's pretty cool

while I disagree with Verant original choices for class/race combos, I still believe that there are lore reason for who can become what. I just see these restrictions differently than Verant did.

And unfortunately the race makes so tiny impact on your class performance, that power wise, past level 20 it does not matter if you picked erudite or ogre for a wizard.

Yea some are cool, some are stupid. Intersting idea really, but not much else
