Any plans on running an EQ2 server?

As much as I am a fan of EQ2 combat skill system and their crafting, EQ2 Emu doesn't even have combat system working
All you can do there is run around and look at pretty flowers.
So give it 3 years to actually become PLAYABLE, and another 3 before it gets to the point where it has as much things coded in as EQ1 Emu does

We'll use SoF zones in upcoming contents, so the "flower fans" will get some lovin too.

Is there still a problem, emu-wise, with the DoD and later expansions having the map files? I seem to remember when messing with my server that the program that compiled the map files wasn't updated to work with the newer zones. That still an issue? It's been awhile since I messed with running a server at home.

From my understanding, support was added within the past couple of days.

yes map files for DoN and DoDH zones have been added recently.
So once current projects are completed, some of these zones could be considered for future development.

All zones up to Secrets of Faydwer are useable on the emulator now. Look for them in the YEAR 2010
