I played on the Classic server, and I still do although it's down for a while right now.

Anyways so far I am really enjoying the server. I loaded the new spell file and it works as far as not having any "unknown" spell effects that I've caught before.

But my spell icons are mixed up now. Such as Clarity is an Illusion symbol, a Shammy buff is an Enduring Breath symbol but it's actually Talisman of the Bear.

Any suggestions? Would starting completely over work or is there a quicker problem I'm missing? Apologies for being a noob.

That's P1999 has you replace the spell gem icons in the UI file. You need to restore the spell gems.

Before you do this, make a backup of your p1999 folder and use the new one for this server.

That way any changes you make to play here will not affect your P1999 settings (not that you will want to go back to P1999 after being here )

Muhaha Perhaps you're right on that, it's a lot of fun so far.

One more question. I'm doing a fresh intall of my Titan and was wondering. This server use the old version of Lavastorm or the new? Same with Nek and Arena etc? Wanna know so I can make a perfect backup copy once I get everything correct.

My 1999 is already backed up so no worries there if I go back

bah now I can't connect to the login server for some reason.

If Lillu haven't changed default PEQ settings, when he first strated, we are prabobly on:

-new lava
-old nektulos
-new Arena

we have new nektulos, but I think I closed it for further devving.

Basically, you don't have to change zone files like you do for P1999

resetting everything up and I can't connect to the login server, strange.

oh yeah, you need to edit the host file still.
