I have some items that gives a + to my dmg shield but they do not show up
on my DS or mystats is this not working or is it bugged?

make sure you have actual DS spell buff on you. +DS items only improve a DS buff you have, they don't work by themselves

i dont get any +ds from my gar either wish druid ds on or any other kind of ds

i dont think this feature has ever worked on emu. is there a hard-cap?

The feature works just fine on EZ server. On EZ it shows up as a higher damage in the "has been hit by a non-melee for ____" emote.

I do not believe this feature is turned on for the server due to the Titanium build the server uses. (+dmg shield came along much later iirc) If it is, it is broken or turned off purposefully, and only a GM could say.

Check your filters and go let something hit you.

This worked when the server was first launched; I don't see why it would just stop working. As an above poster said, make sure you have an actual DS on because +DS items only add a DS if you already have a DS spell cast on you.

For example, druid DS does 24 dmg, you have +6 DS from items, that 24 DS now does 30. With no spell-based DS then you will a 0 DS, even if you have DS from items.

Do a test like that, but if you do then make sure you take *all* DS items off, get hit, then put a DS item on. The reason for this is that there is a DS from items hardcap (30 by default). If you are over the cap, at say 40, then take off a DS +6 item, then the number will not change because you are still at the cap of 30!

i'm saying it only does the dmg thas in the spell discription there is no +dmg

So there is a cap @ 30? Good to know.

+ds works fine for me..
