I cast call of the hero next to the bird, to get my alt near the quest giver and it promptly killed both of us for trying to get the quest.

What fun would a race be if you can skip over half the zone?

I didn't have the quest. I said I was trying to go get the quest. I had failed the quest and ran out of time. I had a character there that could call of the hero my alt to the quest giver. And for my effort of trying to get the quest, both of my characters were killed. I was not amused.
