Problem with 1500pnt weapons

I saved up enough to get a 1500pnts ldon weapon, was all excited, and bam, it killed just about every collection quest.

Seems the proc, in this case the call of wu, which summons a 'friend' to aid in the fight can randomly cause a kill to despawn instantly. It only happens when the weapon procs, and it also occurs in assassinate mish's with boss corpses.

Can you either remove the proc and replace it with something else, like a dot, or rune like buff. Or make the proc something you can buy as an aug if you want to use it type thing.

Ok, done some more testing w/ different weapons. Got the edge of oblivion for my rogue bot, and it doesn't cause the mobs to dispawn.

So either it was a glitch (I don't have the monk weapon anymore to test) fixed in the latest patches, or it is just the Call of WU pet that does this.

When I can, I will test the whip with the call of the mistwalker.

Ok, finally got the ranger weapon from ldon, the whip of the earth crafter.

It seems it does cause kills to despawn like the earthen fist, but not as much so far. I have some more testing to do. Just frustrating having goods poof.

Question though, is the edge of oblivion supposed to be all/all? Monks don't have peircing do they? Seems odd. I imagine it was meant to be tagged for BST.

Nah, it's pretty bad. Current ldon, 4 mobs have despawned right after killing them, and I don't see the pets proccing off the weapons everytime.

The edge of oblivan worked almost flawlessly, I think maybe one depawn in 100 or 200 kills. The whip and the fist are like once every 5 or 10.

Ive been using a rogue bot equipped with the ldon dagger in its primary and ldon whip in its secondary, and tonight I had multiple instances in which a corpse of a mob killed insta-poofed after its death. I killed Zlexak in tov and the corpse poofed as soon as it died, as well as various trash mobs throughout veeshan, north karana halloween mobs, and in poair.

I forgot to check if it actually was one of the proc pets that got the kill shot on Zlexak, but during the fight there were a good 6-10 of the pets attacking him just before his death.

this should be resolved with a future update. Keep up-to-date with our news. This will be a major release and should be hard to miss!
