Initial Concerns

First off thanks to the Staff for making this content available. I can easily see this becoming a fun past time 8-)

First Thing - The Hidden Vale zone staging area for Ldon adventures, has a Bot timer cap on it. As this zone has a buffer and all relevant NPC's I think this should be removed as it is a staging area like the Forest itself.

AA Speed (on normal) - Seemed to fly by almost to fast. Granted I was solo with my cleric bot I calculated it to 4.5 mobs per AA.

Difficulty - Did a couple runs of slaughter and Assasinate on Normal, and this was incredibly easy for me. I did not have to use a single brain cell for strategy. Got take trains of mobs 5-15 at a time if I was prepared for it. But could easily just walk threw the zone casually. The Boss Mobs on assasinate did not even enrage (on normal), and was nothing special compared to all the other trash. Perhaps these can be tuned up a bit.

I understand the Normal level may be for new members or not Tier armoed people, and perhaps it is why it only gives a small amount of points per run. In the end for me it would just be a grind as I dont even have an fun boss fight to look forward to.

As for the Hard level zones, I will have to wait till I get a guild group going. Poked my head into Mistmoore on hard and I am gonna have a hell of a lot of fun splitting that entrance I can already tell :D

Thanks again admin, just from logging in and taking a look was a lot of fun :)

I did a couple hard runs ... they are wicked fun and also decently challenging.

Aye, hards are far more enjoyable for me, they involve a pretty decent amout of risk, even for the high end folk. I refuse to run easy tbh, too boring for me.

This is now changed to be in line with other zones.

Normal difficulty is more geared towards solo players with bots.

Also, people who solo raid content can't be pleased with normal adventures i guess ;)

Looking at your gear, you are overgeared + 1100 AA's for normal missions, so they should be easy and are not intended for your as the target player, even on a 2 box. Now myself, I am appropriately geared for starting this series of zones, and Normal Tak missions will kill me if I get a 3 pull with a 2 box + 1 bot. I think the difficulty on normal is just fine, please dont change it.

^^^ Okay okay, I was just expressing my experiances which will differ from other user experiances. I was interested in hearing the perspective of other users who are not tier geared without popping an alt to find out (And as my guildies know it will be a long time before you see me with an alt 8-) ). Just from my first impression I thought they might even be to easy for new players, if that is not the case then they are already set up, which rocks

As for the Hard Ldons did a couple, and they are decently fun. With Kilmer as tank and a cleric they are doable and fun to split the more "packed" sections for sure.

And, The Hidden Vale what about removing the bot timer in this zone?

No offense Falcore, but you were a top 3 geared toon before help desk / dinodeeps started on the server, obviously you had ease with the easy LDoN, they are tuned for the average player, who hasn't spent hours raiding with a raid guild and / or grinding out the best possible augs / gear in every zone in the game.

I cruise through easy's with harney / daddy as well, but it doesn't mean they should be adjusted to fit us, the hards were meant to give us a challenge, and the easy's were meant to be doable by people new to the server.

yes, this was our vision of ldon, and we are trying to balance normal/hard adventures like that.

Harney, I'm waiting for your pm that you promised me! ;)

I take no offense to having decent gear, in fact I rather enjoy it. And I retract my concerns about the difficulty of the normal setting in Ldon

But being the rebel rousing Luck Monk that I am, I just couldnt resist the temptation 8-)

A little Ldon Fun (Naked and with bare fists)

Just a little fun in Ldon, without any gear and weapons, except my throwing stars as monks can not live without those ;). I admit I only went threw 15 mobs as it was so painfully slow, I don't think I could do a full run in the time allowed. Without FD ability and a couple of monk pulling Disciplines it might be totally impossible.

Just another awesome flying kick
