Well first off that was a a Droid not an iPhone. Second that was totally wicked, I so want that on my phone would be slow as heck but still awesome!

I believe they are not really running EQ on the smart phone but using VNC to play eq which is running on their home computer. The phone just allows you to control it.

Still very cool though.

The most frames per second you can expect to get over VNC would be like.. 4-7fps. I would say 5fps across a local network.

with 3g/4g you might be able to get similar speeds (depending on your upstream coming from your house). But most likely you'll be seeing 2-3 fps

Thats cool and all, but I'm fully confident that EQ (with vanilla graphics settings) could run locally on the phone given an environment in which it can run. I'm not sure of the state of EQ Emu on WINE, or the state of WINE on Android... but I bet you'll see that happen before you see EQ running on windows mobile =P
