Yep, I race 1/8 scale nitro off road buggies. I also have an 1/8 scale Nitro Monster Truck I use to run around the neighborhood.

I am all electric though, mostly 1/10s traxxas and some team associated. Some of these guys go past 70 mph

Love my old Traxxas you maid me charge it up and try it out still works great!! Surprising since i remember repairing it all the time.

Pretty old thread, but meh, I'll post =p
I've wanted to get into RC stuff ever since I was a kid - mainly helicopters, or even planes.
My friend and I used to go to air shows at the Willow Grove air base in PA, and during some of the down time, they would have people with these crazy awesome RC planes and helicopters that were gas powered.
Unfortunately, I hear it's an expensive hobbie, and I have other expensive hobbies that take up my spare cash =(

15ish years ago I used to race a Losi XX4 at a local track. I have a XXT and a clodbuster for fun around the neighborhood. I brought them out of retirement a couple years ago for the kids, and the clodbuster was definitely a hit. That thing plows through anything in its way.

Got myself addicted to Helicopters

Got myself a Blade MCPX and Trex 450
Been flying for few months now i can start to fly them any witch way and do some stuff,
