Icewell Keep

I don't know if this is intentional, but it is a huge pain in the butt. The constant summoning of the mobs in this zone is an enormous hassle. The zone has enough pathing issues that the summoning makes it difficult to pull and fight. I got summoned into walls about 4 times this morning. The only thig I can do about it is gate out and come back. Could we perhaps make the regular mobs not sumon, and leave that ability to the named mobs like the Loremaster, Senechal, Staff Sargeant, etc? That way we could reduce the amount of time spent trying to get out of walls.

I agree the mobs summoning there is very annoying. I couldn't possibly count how many times i've died due to the walls.
ps can loremaster in the basement be dropped to level 72? you killed my best pet in the zone

Well, aside from the one next to dain, but as soon as you walk in he attacks you.

I will check with the Database and remove Summon on some mobs i guess

im not totaly against summon on them but perhaps the threshold can be altered? ( like no summon untill 75% hp?), that way a small dmg shield wont let them summon or a single riposte

I believe the summon code looks something like this -
IF MOB_HB < 95% of Total_Mob_HP start to summon like a green bastard!
And that 95% cannot be adjusted on a per mob basis.

I normally don't mind the summoning, it s just really bad in this zone.

With the multiple floors and the pillars the dorfs just love to summon you to spot where you cant move and nothing is around.

Lots of NPCs had their summon flag removed.

sorry to bump an old issue but alot of mobs are summoning again and summing into walls sucks lol...lots of non named i mean

Since we didn't change summon flag lately, not sure what "again" means. Can you list the problematic mobs?
Having the summon ability on trash mob is of course intended in many zones, please keep that in mind.

about the wierd summoning , Silverwing in VP summons even if you do 0 dmg to him
