Upcoming Revision - For April 17, 2010

Hello everyone,

I have recently returned from an extended absence. As some of you may not know, I am currently responsible for updating our server code. In addition, I also take on additional projects. If you do not know me, I'm sure you will in the near future!

Lillu has asked me to post about upcoming changes for our latest revision which is scheduled to be released tomorrow (Saturday April 17). This update will cover several months of updating in addition to some recent customization as well. Please help us track bugs that we may not have noticed during our testing period. A topic will be posted when the revision is released to help keep track. Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy your stay!

Custom Changes
  • The LDON hub zone now has bot timer rules applied to it
  • No longer consume food/water in LDON hub zone or the hidden forest
  • Changed 1 bot per group rule to address inviting bots when not in the same zone as another group member with a bot
  • Bots should trade items appropriately and not accept duplicate lore items. Likewise, they should not trade you back an item if it results in you having duplicate lore items
  • Added a bot Line of Sight check
  • Bard instrument/song modifiers capped at 45 server side. This means you should no longer have to change gear when using selo’s or any spell for that matter.
  • Tune of Pursuance has been coded-should be working as intended.

Other Notable Changes
  • Bot items can now be augmented. To augment an item that your bot can use but you cannot, you must put the items in the augment slots and use the command #bot augmentitem
  • SoD functionality- This is untested, but SoD is now compatible with the server. Still do not think it is compatible with LS yet.
  • Bots can be spawned based on their name rather than botID.
  • The correct amount of AA points that you have should now be shown in your AA window.
  • SoF clients should no longer be able to click right clickies regardless of it being equipped or class.
  • Guild bank implemented – look for a guildhall/guildhall like zone soon
  • Saylink crash fix in quests-this should reduce potential zone crashes
  • Bot picklock and summon corpse fixed—we will be testing these and implementing upon a complete round of testing. They will remain disabled on THF until then.
  • Group leadership should work better
  • Suspend Minion/Persistent minion aa’s working
  • Calliav line of spells should be working
  • /getguildmotd should work
  • #bot mana is now used for seeing a bot’s mana

To view a complete list of the changes, you can visit the changelog for revision 1370 at http://code.google.com/p/projecteqemu/source/browse/trunk/EQEmuServer/changelog.txt?r=1370. A complete list of our customization will also be posted in the near future
