Ench Spell : Poison of the Brainbender

I'm sorry to have to report this, but Poison of the Brainbender is still zeroing out spell damage. I have the June 22 spells_us.txt file, which is 5,759,495 bytes.

I've tried uploading the spell file a few times, just to be sure, but I always get the same results.

Hmmm are you putting any other debuffs on the mobs?

No, I tested POTBB by itself, comparing it only with Synapsis Spasm.

Confirmed today by a second source, this spell does not increase spell damage and makes all your direct damage spells do zero damage. You are not told this ala "you hit soandso for 0 damage" but rather after your cast lands, no damage report is output whatsoever. After seeing this, I took two characters and simply cast this spell at 100% and attempted nuking and on both characters the health did not shift with any cast, confirming that it is not just a display/visual bug.


Note: The Druid Epic 1.5 has a similar effect of increasing spell damage and does function, so perhaps (if possible on the backend) doing a copy/paste of the spell damage increase component and just lowering the value. The damage modifier uses different effect slots also if that could be related to the problem.

This spell is at least no longer zeroing out spell damage. I haven't yet compared it with Synapsis Spasm to see whether it is actually better, but at least now it is not worse.
