Aura of the Wall

Today while I was in Seb with a friend of mine I notice that even though he was on the opposite side of the zone the proc "Wall Rune" from the "Aura of the Wall" would still hit my character while he (friend) was attacking and would sometimes pull agro. Not that I'm complaining because we actually started to have fun pulling that way. Anyways back to the topic at hand. I wouldn't think that the proc's range would be that great do you? Anyways just thought I would tell you what I found out.

I believe the reason why Ballzo brings this up is for the potential in accidently training mobs from halfway across the zone. When Ballzo and I were testing this. He was able to pull mobs on his bard and then use fading memories while my sk was fighting mobs at the spawn point for the froglok pickler. It didn't take long till I had hit the aggro limit of 25 and was booted back to THF.

Quick question, are you certain that it wasnt the bard song creating group agro and pulling the mobs? One tick can pull agro with the right song. Often I have to shut off my bards song when pulling or FD moving.

From what I have noticed the wall rune states that its affecting out of range members but actually isnt. In my case it tells each character that its on them when it procs on my warrior then dissapears when he is actualy hit. I have never had this affect draw agro across a zone.

I remember pulling a train for myself in Ssra temple basement and a group member who had the proc gave me the rune and pulled aggro from HP room.

Created good times.
Thanks for the memories.

Ya I know it wasn't the bard song. The distances were too great! Even if it isn't affecting them it seems to generate some aggro.
