Have done a lot of reading about and had most of my questions answered but would like the answers to s few more.

I am Lvl 70 working on Kael armour, have upgraded a few bits. I have finished 3 of the 4 solo auras. Uograded my charm twice and have epics 1.5 on all toons.

I run Pally (main) druid, bard assassin Mage and cleric(bot)

group set up very happy with.

questions:-

1/ armour progression so far has been easily followed, but where after Kael and upgraded in haven?

2/ can you single group the raid tiers? or do I at some point need a guild (I have no problem with that.. just time constraints)

3/ what songs do people play with their bards? (I did find a post but lost it!)

4/ do you need to unpack your armaments' of the god bag or can you just give the whole bag to the pet?

5/ can you get your cleric bot to buff you? mine only gives me the spell haste buff!

Armor wise I'm not sure as I jumped on the donor band wagon pretty early.

The raid tiers are single groupable but only really if you're using a T8 pet and are well geared from the group tiers. Or have donors. You can go all the way to t6/7 with a single group if you're well enough geared, but it's more fun if you find a friend/guild to box with as well as it makes life a lot easier.

AC songs mainly. My bard uses the T8 versions which are Minstrel's Guard, Slayer's Destiny (spell dmg + overhaste), Cantata of Hope and I also chuck Psalm of Veeshan in as it adds a tiny bit more AC... but the guys who play bards as mains will be able to advise you more appropriately on them!

Yes you need to hand each item from the bag to the pet, 4 at a time. Unfortunately!

1) Start going through Tier1-tier2 for upgrades

2) You can single group tiers, but you need to be guilded for atleast half of the content. You can request to start your own guild by posting in "guilds" subforum. Lillu is pretty responsive to the guild requests thread.

3) Bard songs- I really only use Selo's and Slayers Destiny Rk III. You can replace Slayers destiny with Song of the Orc Slayer (Ldon pts buyable in Vale)

4) Pet Toys- I unpack them and give item by item to the pet.

5) Cleric Bot Buff- No idea =/ Guessing not.

In regards of Cleric bot he should buff you but only up to Virtue, so if you have the druid buff he will mostly not overwrite it.
Personally the only time in the lvl 70 range i would use a none melee dps bot is when i would fight a boss like Sleeper that AE dispells/Dots.
