probably cause of hp/ac buff portion. I will look into it

UPDATE: number of changes to the illusions:

-altered Earth illusion to stack with possible hp buffs
-Water Illusion now also have +2 mana regeneration to support priests it was intended for
-Air Elem illusion, replaced Spell Haste (seem useless considering abundance of this focus elsewhere), with Critical Cast bonus. mana regeneration bonus increased to +4

changes should go live next time Lillu updates the file (hopefully tomorrow =P)

Illusion Earth does not stack with Spirit of Fail, not sure about champion. Also I have not done any time at the dummies seeing the effects of fire or air but I have not seen any real difference in speed of killing things.

yeah I see why it don't stack. this is fixable.

As far as their dps potential goes- note that they meant to make impact for 20-40 game level range. For high end people there is going to be another set

Illusion Earth does stack with Champion (made a shammy bot). Would make a small request on the higher level versions, make them castable only on group members.

i will see how i can arrange that. technically I planned to make high end illusions self only (as original illusions), then you can cast them on others via Enchanter AA

I also play an enchanter as a main and i happen to be packin the chanty donator weapon. I am able to charm some awesome mobs, I would like to be able to take care of them at some point....maybe a heal or something along those lines, regen maybe...not wanting to step on little mageys toes or anything but deciding on making enchanters a pet class OR buff class....if yall decide to go pet, please give us the spells needed to take care of a pet..if going towards buffs, let us at least be able to contend with shaman buffs...
As far as illusions go, im all for it, if we are able to cast illusions with vertain buffs on people thats awesome, although alot of people dont like the lev effect, bouncing up and down all the time...

thanks again,

I'd like to start out by saying that I love what you've guys done with the server. There are a lot of interesting abilities that make a lot of classes fun to play. The custom content is awesome and well thought out. I enjoy logging in everyday to enjoy the server.

However, I'm not entirely sure what the role of the Enchanter is on the server. A lot of our roles I have some questions on.

Charm: A lot of raids zones do not have any good charmable mobs that can be buffed to be equivalent to other pet classes' pets. I have the Rk1 charm, but it only has a 1 min duration so it's mostly used for CC. The ToV legs are what I use for a longer duration pet. Unfortunately so many mobs are immune to charm/haste. It's not even worth going through the micro to maintain a charmed pet to get that boost in DPS.

CC: I've never really encountered a situation where CC would be required vs tanking or backup tanking. This is typically the Enchanter's strength, but there aren't any situations where a typical Donor-geared tank or full box group couldn't handle any adds thrown their way.

Debuffs/Buffs: We have a lot of buffs and debuffs, our typical haste/crack line is good. Though I'm not sure if anyone bothers to use the mana flare line. It's too much of a hassle just to get slightly more damage on a nuke. Our haste/crack isn't noticeably better than the Sune buffer's. More spell proc slots, who really cares or needs. Resist debuffs are awesome, no complaints there. We could use more slow/AC debuffs though. Maybe overhaste, or a melee/spell proc buff? Twin proc buff? Something..

Damage: This falls into the more of a utility/DPS balance, with the need for charm supplementing for the lackluster DPS. However, as stated above, when you can't charm a good pet depending on the zone your DPS suffers with no tangible benefit from utility.

I think we're the least played class on the server, and those that DO play a chanter only box him for buffs/debuffs for their wizard DPS army. Maybe others can pipe in and fill me in, because I get the feeling that Chanters are hurting for a role here on THF.

Give us a way to be just as influential to a fight as the wizard, or the paladin. Make sure that we have to micro in order to achieve it. We don't want to be an AFK-dps or a 1 button use class.
