My arguement for this weapon is it needs a new effect, With Salik and worn haste your already at the 100% haste cap and the 80str cap boost as nice as it is a very small dps upgrade even in full raid situation.

Again, as one of the only main bards on this server, I've been hesitant to make a post about how the donator right click is useless, but seeing as how bards just got a severe nerf with the 2.0, I figured we might as well point all of this out.

I agree the donator needs a new click, a 100% haste buff (the bulk of the spell) is pointless when worn + sune buffs already take you over the 100% cap.

Donator Weapons:
All of these Weapons have the look of the 2.0 epic weapons (besides cleric staff has 1.0 look), while they have much improved stats. They are the best ingame (and always will be following the trend).


Bard 2.0 instrument mod is much greater than that of the Bard donator weapon.
Currently having an identity crisis!

First 2.0 clicks, then 1.5 clicks , then Donator. 1 week?

I have seen a dev say in ooc, other weapons are comparable to the donator as they are slightly better than the high end weapons and it doesn't hurt not donating for a weapon.

Are the new weapons going to be under or around the new donator revamp? Are the 2.0's going to be upped in anyway or do they become obsolete at T7 ?

Well, they could always put another aug slot in there for the 2.0s (type31?) :-), that becomes your 2.9 ;)

Thank you tyler for your hastely effort to changing the donator weapons, But I still belive bard donor should be looked at, I know you just changed the effect to add crit chance and lowered recast/duration and thats fine but I belive the effect still isent worth wild I dont have much point in using it on anyone in the grp its only adding approx 19 dps per melee in the group.

I dont know bards well enough to make an accurate suggestion on what to put on it perhaps a v3 haste thats slightly better than ldon song but as of right now I still wont use donor very often.

Thx. I made a mistake in the Crit percentage. The way its configured now, it increased the percentage by 1%, will be retuned to be 25% which i intended.
