There's a whole 2 active paladins on the server, we already use ours to tank sometimes. I see no problem with the change. You still have to throttle aggro when a hybrid is tanking because dual wield procs from a warrior > 1 weapon hybrid procs. Also, the paladin has to do more then autoattack and flurry to hold aggro off the Monk's and Rogue's.
Let's face it, hybrid utility has gone out the window for a long time now. Ranger heals joke. Druid / Ranger Spirit of Eagle? Do the chardok quest everyone gets it. Druid damage shield? Tons of damage shield clicks available. Shadowknight Harm Touch? Worthless. Paladin Lay on Hands? I think that is still a 24hr reuse. Shadowknight Pet? RAMPAGE, what pet? Shadowknight Damage over time spells? LOL 3 panther procs did more damage then what it took me to cast that. Also, I believe that the highest level Shadowknight Lifetap Innate buff is still broken.
You also have the fundamental flaw that no one in their right mind uses a 2handed weapon on this server unless to rampage. For example: a 157 Damage 2hander caps out at about 3400 damage crit on Rawrs. And Paladin and Shadowknight 1.5 and 2.0 are 2handed why?
Also, there is a severe lack of shields for paladin and shadowknight. You have the shield from the random named in ToV T2 (See Therion). And then you have a Shield from Air T5 that's debatable as a slight upgrade yet stat'd for other classes (Paladin and Shadowknight should always get their own shield imho). That's 2 entire raid tiers without a decent shield upgrade.
So you basically need a Donator weapon to even give Shadowknight and Paladin a chance on this server. Either that, or the 1.5 and 2.0 should be changed to 1handed since there's a huge penalty to 2handed damage for some reason. If you do not want to change the current weapons, at least add a scabbard to you can change between 1h and 2h 1.5 and 2.0.
