Thuldar Va Tak

Thuldar Va Tak pop sometimes crashes raid/zone . Did this morning around 7:15 AM mountain time.

Is it right as he spawns or right before the previous kill dies? Makes all the difference :)

He was fully spawned and we'd started an attack then...crash

Just happened to me too. He spawned, started dpsing him and about 15% in the zone crashed :cry:. I killed any adds that were around before I started to attack him, if that makes any difference.

Well got full raid disconnect and no pop of Thuldar. But...was killing devourers of darkness.

I just pushed updates to every script in VT and added a check against the defined entity table before a script can utilize the mob/client data. It was already doing a check to verify that the mob/client existed, but this new check should ensure that the server 100% knows the mob/client data.

Hopefully this will alleviate the crashes that we have seen dealing with invalid mob/client data.

How is the performance overall in the zone now? Anyone experiencing crashes during events? Curious to know how the new entity checks are playing out. This has been a to-do project for events for awhile now when I thought of it a few months back while merging the source code.

Several hours in the zone this morning and evening. Zero crashes. YAY!!! Thanks for the attention.

Awesome! I'll keep an eye on this and if all looks good I'll start pushing these checks into the other highly scripted zones.
