Since there are rumors of tradeskills being needed on our lovely server here, I've begun chugging away to get ahead of the game. However, Abysmal Sea was (at least on live) one of the best places to work on tradeskills - not too much running around, etc. I'm pretty sure there is a stock setup of Abysmal Sea in the PEQTGC package, but when I tried to get there the other day, it wouldn't let me in.

Would it be possible to allow access (and maybe even a direct port from Elyse?) Please :)

IF we indeed go the tradeskill route i was planning on making a zone like that (and can as well just recycle that). No idea why Abysmal is down / locked. We have a couple of zones locket which we will customize soon (TM) like Anguish etc.

I just checked on the Database and Abysmal is in and also all vendors seem to have the Tradeskill stuff for sale (just cross-checked some vendors).

Will ask Lillu to confirm.

Oh I remember now. The magus guys who translocate are unresponsive. Earlier when I tried to get into Abysmal, I walked into Nedaria's Landing and tried to hail that Magus without luck. Just now I tried the SRo Magus.

I'm thinking since LDON content is being worked on by the PEQ crew that their hail texts aren't in our revision. I remember not too long ago that one of the PEQ crew guys was asking if anyone could capture the hail text from live.

The zone is up and populated.

Teleporter script can be add easily, just a bit of work I guess.

Ok - Problem is that you need the LDON stone, otherwise the Magus will not teleport you anywhere or in this case Abysmal.

Does the general Porter in THF work? Zone name is Abysmal.

My memory might be bad. I think I remember Tyler telling me that Elyse should port to Abysmal after yesterday's reboot. If that is the case, she's quite stubborn and isn't porting.

No worries, it's not like I'm desperate. I was more just wanting to report a bug if there was one. I have found a great source for another tradeskill which I am farming in the mean time.

The greatest thing Abysmal brings me immediately is access to pottery 180 without having to skin pelts (which then opens the door for my GM seal and stackable poisons!)

I gotta tell you guys though that farming tradeskill mats on Emu is SOOO much better than it was on live. I feel like I'm actually getting something accomplished.
