Walkthrough
Often times, Crushbone can take you completely through to level 35 and so sometimes a new player may skip Paludal caverns altogether. However there are a couple quests here which yield some useful rewards.
Quest mob:
Wombilino Tinkerneedle is a Gnome located by the first lake after you've entered Paludal Caverns. He is on the opposite side of the lake. His specific loc is -3272, 338.
Quest text:
You say, 'Hail, Wombilino Tinkerneedle'
Wombilino Tinkerneedle jumps at the sound of your voice!
Wombilino Tinkerneedle says, 'Oh hey, you scared me! Can't you walk like normal people do, making loud noise from a far, rather than jumping at me like some sort of plerg phlarg fiend!'
You say,'A plerg phlarg fiend?'
Wombilino Tinkerneedle says, 'Ye-ye-ye, I am hunting them.'
You say,'Why are you hunting them?'
Wombilino Tinkerneedle says, 'Umm...I need their skins for some ... tailoring work I am doing...'
You say,'Tailoring work??'
Wombilino Tinkerneedle says, 'What? A Gnome can't make an honest living by tailoring? People always expect a Gnome to spend his entire life tinkering around those greasy and dirty clockworks, who always break down in the end, and then try to kill you! No thanks! This gnome going to stick to what he knows best: tailoring ... Now, I need to obtain a few fiend skins ... If only I could get some help ...'

Wombilino Tinkerneedle says, 'Hmm perhaps ... but then you`d expect to be paid for your work, right?'

Wombilino Tinkerneedle says, 'Bah! What with you people now-a-days and payments? Can`t you just help me out of kindness of your heart? Don`t you see I am just a poor Gnome trying to make couple thousand ... err .... I mean just a few platinum to make a simple living?'

Wombilino Tinkerneedle says, 'I have never met such a greedy Barbarian before. You sure you don`t have some goblin ancestry?'
You say,'One more insult, and you can go and get the skins yourself!'
Wombilino Tinkerneedle says, 'Ok, ok, so touchy aren`t we? Ok here is the deal. I need at least 10 pristine quality plerg phlarg fiend skins. But that`s not all! I also need 5 vials of a sensate reishi ichor to treat the skins and preserve its regenerative properties. You got it? 10 skins, 5 ichors. You get me that, and I will make ummm ... something nice out of them for you. Deal?'
