Bard speed

I'm reaching what I can only assume is an over cap reset on percussion instruments on the bard. Selo's Song of Travel does next to nothing when I have epic 1.5 or my pants equipped. So what im left with is equiping and un-equiping a 1.5 and a pantless bard playing a speed song. When these items are not on the speed song works as far as applying speed. The song works as far as levi and invis with the items on but the speed is knocked to what I presume is less than SoW. Can someone check this out please? Thanks.

P.s the song is called Selo's Song of Travel and yes the two items I unequip enhance Percussion instruments which this song uses.

Long standing bug, check out some of Shin's last few posts for details and some of the things he was doing to try and fix it.

Unequipping only 2 items is good ... at one point he practically had to unequip everything, I heard :p

Well, i'll have a look but I was hoping someone wouldn't mind digging into this and seeing if they can't determine the issue. I'd really rather not have to un-equip stuff and im not sure if this is effecting my other spells as well. It may not, but I can only assume if the over cap makes you return to 0 with one spell that it lessens the effects of others.
