A bard played correctly is the best puller in the game, period. The lull is the same as it was on live, and trust me I played a raid bard for three years, they can split pretty much anything in the game. Sure, they do best when they're in a big field but they can still pull in small zones if played right.

Pulling tips:

Use LoS to your full advantage
Keep DA on your spell bar at all times, and use it when necessary
Keep your group at a distance, you have selos and now since indoor selos is as good as out-door selos there's no reason you can't keep mobs flowing in even if they're far away
Use Boastful Bellow as much as you can, it's a key pulling utility

A few more things. On live there used to be a lot of different tricks you could use when pulling. One of these included fast fingers and involved fading then hitting BB (Boastful Bellow) immediately afterwards. Doing so would cause only the mob you bellowed to aggro initially, and then the rest would come with a short delay. If this works on emu, then use this to your advantage. If that one mob that comes first is the named/mob you're trying to split, then having him ahead of the crowd can help tremendously (see LoS tip!).

Going back to bard lull. Bards have always been the jack of all trades. Few of their abilities have been or will be the best in the game. The flip side is they can do pretty much anything. Bard lull is not better or as good as other lulls, no, but they have so many other abilities to compensate while pulling.

Don't use higher level lulls, just use quellious for calm. Every added component to a calm lowers it's chance of success. (each spell effect e.g. frenzy radius, aggro radius, etc lowers chance of landing). Though I guess the chaotic lull works fine as you say.

Calm adds, make sure movement is fast, pull with OoS, FM on adds, repeat until single.
If mob is slowable and got a taunter tank add in target slow to pull, range is less though with it.

Charm is too risky and not really worth it in nearly every situation, enchanter/bard lull is special there are mobs they exclusively can only calm, it puts you in your own category for pulling especially with FM. Monks pull better on certain situations, but bards pull great in nearly all.

I also can't believe you want to remove an effect that removes the need to twist a line of songs... (Note: it lasts 3 minutes. Every other form of that song last standard song duration).

If that song is still the best out there, then I really can't believe you want to replace ToV legs just so you can free a spell slot of lull..

Lull range: needs extended i agree with that, most npc's in sleepers, pof or poa will aggro you before you can get close enough to the lull target next to it.

Lull radius: or whatever allows a monk to just walk by his lulled target bards dont have and from what i remember never did, easy to adjust to this it still allows you to pull singles from a crowd of npcs

Fading Memories: works fine, get out of aggro range for the most part but with the 1 second recast you can spam it to shuffle npcs apart while still in aggro range once you learn that method

FM does not use mana but not resisting mana drain will give you a quick lesson the hard way. (go fearplane) that when you are at 0m it wont work.

Charming: voice of the vampire seems to work fine on anything up to level 69 or dark blue not sure if the level 69 is correct never tested but if its blue my bard can charm it, trick with the charm is thats all you can do is charm no other songs

Target an npc and start singing voice of the vampire if it dont resist you now have a pet you have to leave the song playing but heres the pain with it -

1) song must stay playing to keep the charm chain going
2) you can target other npc's while this charm is playing and it will continue to charm the same npc but if by chance your charmed pet resists voice of the vampire your song will stop playing or it will jump to the new target, seems to be random on this
3) charm drains mana for the duration it plays the part that sucks is you dont see this until you cancel it or it drops and if the occasion occurs that you get lucky to keep the pet for the full duration of your mana bar poof now your out of mana and cant fade so hopefully you can kill it.

I play with the charm alot waiting on afks to get back if the opp accurs.

#melody: to me its for when bards just want to be lazy and dont have to pull its a nice feature leave it alone. heres a tip for the not so bard savvy play around with #melody on single songs it opens up a whole new ballpark on what bards can do.

just adding some bardish info into the mix maybe it helps a little maybe not

I can't play.. I moved to Washington, still haven't moved my gaming box (just using a crappy laptop), and just in general being busy working out here now instead of Vegas. Hope things are doing well here though.. see new blood so that's always good. :)
