Im all for that! But i think the point of swarm pets is that as a single wont do much damage but as you get more and more the dps increases and thats where the problem is, dying so quickly youll never get that added dps. High end raiding is gonna be a hard fix like you said but in my opinion if your relying on swarm pets to win a high end battle then your overall dps is lacking too much to be trying that mob. I think they should only be an added bonus and not looked at as a way to increase the dps of a raiding party a huge amount. Take down a mob faster? Great! Take down a mob you normally wouldnt be able to otherwise? No way.
Oh after reading some of the forums I see that the proc on wormslayers harpoon looks the same as the ranger epic which is supposed to be immune to magic? Is that all forms of magic or just magic resistant spells. Cold fire etc takes them out instantly as well.
Would there be any chance to simply increase thier hitpoints to say 500 just to make them at least usable on normal mobs until a resolution can be came up with? I cant even count the number of mobs that have damage shields in this game and its instant death making those procs worthless.
